Private beta

The CodeSense private beta

CodeSense is in private beta for Macs with Apple Silicon. The private beta is invite-only for now. Applications open soon; until then, write to beta@codesense.ai.

Email beta@codesense.ai Tell us a little about your team and how you run agents today.

How the beta works

Getting in
We invite people one at a time, starting with a few design partners and then small waves. Your invite email has your beta key and a download link.
Platform
Macs with Apple Silicon.
First launch
The app asks for the beta key from your invite, then asks you to connect GitHub. GitHub is your sign-in; there's no separate CodeSense account. One key works on up to 3 Macs.
Builds
macOS builds are signed with an Apple Developer ID and notarized by Apple.
Updates
The app checks for a new build about once a day and installs it the next time you quit, never in the middle of your work. Each beta build stops working 90 days after its release, so keep updating.
Your data
The app sends no telemetry. Its only automatic calls are the daily update check and the background update download. Read the privacy page or the data practices.
Terms
Short, plain terms and no NDA. Read the beta terms.
When it ends
We'll give you 30 days' notice before the private beta ends.

Where this is going

As of .

  1. Private beta (now): invited people only. We read every piece of feedback and ship updates often.
  2. Public beta: anyone can download it. It opens once private beta users have run CodeSense on real work for a few weeks without losing work, and updates arrive reliably.
  3. 1.0: the first stable release, once the public beta has earned it.

Moving between stages is meant to be an update, not a reinstall.

Windows and Linux

There are no Windows or Linux builds yet, and no date for them.

Windows or Linux? Write to beta@codesense.ai and we’ll tell you if and when it’s ready.
